What are we studying?
There are thousands of people living in converted homes in England. These are buildings that were previously shops, offices and other non-residential uses. We know that there can be an important link between these types of housing and residents’ health and wellbeing. But we need more information about how converted housing affects health and wellbeing, including its impact on residents' day-to-day activities, such as sleep and social interactions.
